As CPR instructors, you know how important it is to ensure your students are prepared to act confidently in real-life situations. Unfortunately, research shows that women are less likely to receive CPR from bystanders, leading to lower survival rates compared to men. PRESTAN wants to help change that!
The PRESTAN Female Manikin was designed with these challenges in mind. Engineered with contribution from the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council, CPR/AED training instructors, and healthcare professionals to provide a realistic training experience with a female manikin, we aim to:
Improve CPR Survival Rates in Women: Equip your students with the skills and confidence to perform CPR and use an AED on women, increasing the chances of survival.
Encourage Important Conversations: This manikin opens the door to discussions that can break down barriers and address the fears and misconceptions that some bystanders may have about superficial physical differences.
Eliminate Gender Bias in CPR Training: Help your students feel prepared to assist anyone in need, regardless of gender.
